On Tuesday April 9th, Dickies Employees had the opportunity to volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Richmond. We spent the morning making sandwiches which will be served to the parents and siblings of hospitalized children for lunch. After preparing the sandwiches, we were given a tour of the house by Danielle, a new volunteer.
We learned that the RMHC was started in 1977, the year before Dickies Seafood! They are a huge resource for families who are going through the pain of having an ill child. Danielle explained that Ronald McDonald House Charities in Richmond depends GREATLY on the support of volunteers and the generosity of donors. Dickies will definitely be back!
